We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff was incredibly friendly, accommodating and attentive, despite not all speaking English. The hotel facilities were great and the onsen was a perfect place to relax and unwind. As for cleanliness, we were truly impressed with how spotless everything was. The breakfast was also tasty and filling.
Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

Spending Christmas at this ryokan was an amazing experience. the traditional Japanese room with tatami mats and futons was comfortable and cozy. the onsen was perfect for relaxing after a day of snowboarding, and it even had a beautiful outdoor bath with views of the snow, covered mountains. the kaiseki dinner served in, room was a highlight, with multi, course dishes and fresh, local ingredients. the complimentary shuttle from the train station was very convenient and allowed us to easily explore the surrounding area.
That there were limited options for English, speaking staff, making it a bit difficult to communicate at times. the location was somewhat remote, requiring a bit of travel to get to some of the area's main attractions.

the exclusive amenities fulfilled my every requirement, from the spa and wellness centre to the in-room breakfast.
Although my experience was overwhelmingly positive, I did encounter a minor issue. the location was somewhat secluded, with few nearby restaurants and bars.

My Christmas stay at this hot spring resort was simply magical. The stunning ambiance and cozy rooms added to the overall experience. I was blown away by the mouth-watering Japanese cuisine that was served in-room, which allowed for a truly private and intimate dinner. The hotel's shuttle service made it easy to reach nearby attractions. The onsen was easily the highlight of my stay, the calming hot waters were a great way to unwind. The staff went above and beyond their duties to ensure that the guests were comfortable during their stay.
The resort's location wasn't very convenient for me, but the hotel's shuttle service made up for it. The language barrier was a bit of a struggle at times, but the staff's warm and friendly demeanor made up for it.

the location of the hotel may not be the most convenient, but the free shuttle made it easy to get around. the rooms were fantastic and clean, complete with a beautiful bathroom. the traditional Japanese breakfast provided by the hotel was also something to look forward to.
The hotel may not have the most scenic view since the onsen does not have one, but it still provided a great relaxing experience.
